Starry Night Café is currently seeking a second Sous Chef to join our growing team of professionals. We are a passionate crew that believes in doing stellar work and supporting each other for the overall integrity of the dining experience we love to provide.
We want to have fun, be playful, work hard, and show up for each other with the intention of growing contemporary branches from the VT roots that have supported us for so many years.
Our second Sous Chef will work closely with our head chef and other sous to plan menus, provide a creative mind to engage with, and assist in the daily direction of kitchen staff. A solid repertoire of prep/production skills as well of knowledge of global ideas/techniques is essential. Organization, cleanliness and ability to think on the fly are crucial to the position, therefore at least 2 years' experience managing staff or holding a leadership role in a kitchen is desired.
